Mission Statement / Scope of Responsibilities
The goal of the Port of Cascade Locks is to promote economic development by creating and retaining quality jobs. The successful operation of the Port results in financial and social benefits to the community as well as the Port and its stakeholders.

The Port of Cascade Locks is located 45 miles east of Portland and 20 miles west of Hood River. Cascade Locks is the western-most city within the Columbia River Gorge Scenic Area on the Oregon side of the Columbia River. All of the Port properties have excellent transportation options and are a short, 40 minute drive to the Portland International Airport. The Portland metropolitan area provides a vast market for potential industry tenants, and with a population of over one million persons, a large visitor base for resort facilities.
